Dave Keckhut‘s original hard rock band MADE-N-AMERICA is hitting the stage in Los Angeles as direct support for Phil X and the Drills on May 9th, 2019. It’s the band’s first live performance since the release of their latest CD titled “United We Stand,” and will include the latest addition to the band, Juke Kartel drummer Jay Pinfold.
MADE-N-AMERICA is a staple in the Los Angeles hard rock market, bringing more than three original CD’s of music in the past five years and performing on stage with the biggest names in rock. They’ve been direct support for artists including Michael Schenker, Uli Jon Roth and next week, Bon Jovi‘s guitarist Phil X for the first show of his mini-tour supporting the release of his latest album “Stupid Good Lookings.”
Frontman David Keckhut shares, “We’re excited to let our LA fans hear some of the new tunes live on stage and who better to kick ass with than Phil X. It’s going to be great.”
MADE-N-AMERICA‘s CD release was halted briefly by the departure of former drummer Sam Aliano, who’s career returned him home to Australia. The CD offers 12 newly recorded tracks, including the classic remake of Keckhut‘s mid 80’s regional hit “Get Naked,” formerly performed by his band The Mob. The CD brings together guitarist Andy Haller, who also engineered the album, with bassist Clakers Kay and drummer Sam Aliano in their first recording together with that line-up and will be available for purchase at the show.
For attendees, arrive at the Whisky A Go-Go on May 9th early and take time to hear what the band has planned for 2019. Visit the official band website at www.made-n-americarocks.com and hear the tracks, make download purchases and get to know the songs before the show.
